## Who we are and where

SporeSec is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and works remotely with businesses in Israel and around the world, in English and Hebrew. The engineer who answers your messages is the one writing your code. We have no office outside Israel.

## Time zones and hours

We work in Israel time: Sunday to Thursday, 09:00 to 19:00, and Friday 10:00 to 15:00; closed on Saturday. We take early-morning calls for Asia-Pacific and evening calls for the Americas, by booking.

Work is asynchronous by default: we write things down, so nothing waits for a call. Live calls are by booking.

## Language

We work in English and Hebrew, on calls and in writing.

## Quotes, payment and the agreement

- **How a project starts**: Start with a free 30-minute intro call. After it you get a written quote within 2 business days, with a fixed price per scope that names what we deliver.
- **Quote currency**: We quote in Israeli shekels or US dollars. The exchange rate is fixed in the written quote.
- **Payment**: You can pay by bank transfer (SWIFT), card, Wise or PayPal. The client pays the transfer fees.
- **The agreement**: Every project runs on a written agreement that lists what we deliver. You own what we build.

## Invoices and tax

- Invoices to clients outside Israel carry no Israeli VAT.
- Australia: a supplier outside Australia does not charge Australian GST on services to an Australian business that is registered for GST and buys them for its business, so our invoices to such a business carry none. - United States: a US company that pays us may ask for Form W-8BEN. We provide it on request. The form goes to the payer, not to the IRS. Source: Internal Revenue Service, Instructions for Form W-8BEN.
